Helical Staircase
A helical staircase is a large staircase, leading upward in a flowing arc. As they take up more space than other types of staircases, the installation site must be big enough to accommodate it comfortably. They are available in large curve, straight and large square shapes.
The primary design of the helical staircase often begins with two rolled stringers, made out of box plate, single plate, ISMB, or ISMC, attached by treads in between. These staircases do not have a centre column upon which the treads are fastened around.
